MD Psychiatry

KMCT Medical College offers the MD Psychiatry (Doctor of Medicine) postgraduate degree course at Mukkam Campus 1, Kozhikode. The programme is conducted in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the National Medical Commission (NMC), with academic affiliation and award of degree entrusted to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. The MD Psychiatry programme at KMCT Medical College is a 3-year postgraduate course conducted as per NMC postgraduate regulations, combining structured academic learning with clinical, practical, teaching and research training. KMCT Medical College invites applications from candidates who meet the prescribed academic standards and are committed to advancing their career in the medical field. Admission to the postgraduate programme is carried out in line with the regulations of the National Medical Commission, the affiliating university, and the concerned state and central admission authorities. Candidates must have successfully completed the relevant qualifying examinations with the required marks and possess a valid national-level entrance examination score. Applicants are also expected to satisfy age and other regulatory criteria and submit all necessary documents to complete the admission process.
