MS Ophthalmology

KMCT Medical College offers the MS Ophthalmology (Master of Surgery) postgraduate degree course at Mukkam Campus 1, Kozhikode. The programme is conducted in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the National Medical Commission (NMC), with academic affiliation and award of degree entrusted to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. A testament to its academic excellence, the college holds an A+ Grade in KUHS QAS Accreditation and an 'A' Grade from NAAC — proudly standing as Kerala's first and only NAAC-accredited medical college.
The MS Ophthalmology programme at KMCT Medical College is a 3-year postgraduate course conducted as per NMC postgraduate regulations, combining structured academic learning with clinical, practical, teaching and research training. KMCT Medical College invites applications from candidates who meet the prescribed academic standards and are committed to advancing their career in the medical field. Admission to the postgraduate programme is carried out in line with the regulations of the National Medical Commission, the affiliating university, and the concerned state and central admission authorities. Candidates must have successfully completed the relevant qualifying examinations with the required marks and possess a valid national-level entrance examination score. Applicants are also expected to satisfy age and other regulatory criteria and submit all necessary documents to complete the admission process.
